Steve Tecklenberg
Born 1972
Occupation Minister / Teacher
Board Function President / Executive Director / Member, Finance Committee

Born in Bethesda, MD, Steve moved with his family several times before they finally settled down in the suburbs of Baltimore when he was 4 years old.
It was about this time that God began to do a work in Steve's family, and when he was 6 years old he was introduced to the Lord by his recently converted Mother. Though he didn't understand much at that young age, he received what he did understand, and God was faithful to keep him and train him throughout his childhood.
Upon graduation from Bible School (the Evangelical Institute in Greenville, SC), Steve began to contemplate what it might be that God would have him do as a vocation. Although he had several ideas of different careers he could pursue, God shepherded him through various circumstances and, almost without realizing it, Steve "found himself" involved in ministry work.
As the founder and executive director of Eagle's Nest, the history of the mission is directly linked to Steve's own story. Beginning in 1995 with a call to go to Moscow, Russia with a team or missionaries, this blossomed into what is now a ministry with works in several different countries, all centered on teaching the Scriptures, from beginning to end, with the desire that people use that teaching as an avenue to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
