Ministries

Overall Purposes:
 

Eagle's Nest's purpose of existence is best summarized in our modified mission statement: to provide individuals of all ages with many, various opportunities to grow in their knowledge of, love for, and service towards our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
 

In the pursuit of this, we recognize three principal areas on which we are to focus:
 

  

Glorifying God's Name
Strengthening His Church
Extending His Kingdom

 

 

Whereas the first point on the list speaks primarily of our upward relationship with God, the second two speak of our horizontal relationships with people - first to our spiritual family, the church, and then to the outside world.
 

God has been gracious in providing us with several opportunities to pursue these endeavors all over the world. The following list is designed, at this point, to just get some basic information out. More details will be forthcoming...

In order to give you a quick overview of our current ministry schedule we have divided it into two headings, "Special Events", and "Ministry Opportunities".
 

"Special Events" are programs that we are offering to anyone who is interested. They range from teaching seminars, to educational tours, to family-oriented outings and activities.
 

"Ministry Opportunities" are available only to those who meet the criterion of having an established, visible, growing walk with Christ, and are being called of Him to participate with us. Sometimes, only Eagle's Nest staff can fulfill the requests that come in. However, as often as possible, we try to open them up to others as well.

"Ministry Opportunities" have been subdivided into three separate classes:

  

Class 1 - For general participation. Especially young people are encouraged to participate, as the focus of the ministry is to young people. Usually, these ministries can have a large group involved in the work.
Class 2 - For more experienced ministers. Pastors, teachers, professors, and other people with more theological and practical training are invited for these. Usually, these ministries are for a few at a time, and focus on Bible Schools, Church conferences, etc.
Class 3 - For official staff of Eagle's Nest only. Typically the first time we go into a new field, and thus are focused on establishing relationships.
